Fast Food Fracas of the Day: Accompanied by her 40-year-old boyfriend Darrell Page, Shanaya Edgell, 22, entered a Janesville, Wisconsin, McDonald’s at 3 AM on Sunday with a hankering for a cheeseburger. Unfortunately, she was too late (or too early), and was informed that the restaurant was only serving breakfast fare.

Upset, Edgell began biting her boyfriend’s arm and tearing off his shirt. You know — normal stuff.

According to a police report, the couple initially drove away, but Edgell decided she could go for the McMuffin after all, and demanded that Page return to McDonald’s.

When he wouldn’t comply, Edgell began to hit Page in the face, and resumed biting him. He pulled the car over, and Edgell got out of the vehicle and scaled the hood to prevent him from driving away.

When the police questioned Edgell, she acknowledged being unhappy about the lack of cheeseburgers, and said Page had attempted to calm her down. Asked  about climbing on top of the car, she replied: “I was acting crazy.”

Edgell was held in jail overnight, and was scheduled to appear in court sometime today.
